In Alabama, it’s cake mix . . . in Colorado, ingredients for s’mores . . . Idaho, brown sugar . . . Kansas, instant ramen . . . Kentucky, peanut M&M’s . . . Michigan, Fruity Pebbles . . . Minnesota, tortilla chips . . . Mississippi, Cream of Asparagus soup (???)
In Missouri, Life Savers candy . . . Nevada, soy milk . . . North Dakota, powdered lemonade . . . Oklahoma, Folgers coffee . . . South Dakota, macaroni and cheese . . . Tennessee, Starburst candy . . . Vermont, mango juice . . . and Virginia, cornbread mix.
Cleaning and personal hygiene products are also big, like disinfecting wipes in Arkansas . . . laundry detergent in Illinois . . . flushable wipes in Massachusetts . . . trash bags in New Mexico . . . and paper towels in New York.
And the most RANDOM ones include mosquito head nets in Maine, smartphone SIM cards in Georgia, pencil sharpeners in New Jersey, and paper shredders in Pennsylvania. (What do Pennsylvanians have to hide with all these two-day paper shredder orders?)
