Oprah Says She Can’t Accept Herself If She Weighs Over 200 Pounds

Even when OPRAH WINFREY weighed over 200 pounds, she WANTED to be body-positive and just accept herself for what she was . . . but it’s hard to do that when your extra poundage is a detriment to your health.

In an interview with the “New York Times” magazine, Oprah argued that you SHOULD have a positive attitude about your body image, and not be obsessed with becoming something that you’re not . . . but you shouldn’t just let yourself go.

She said, quote, “For your heart to pump . . . it needs the LEAST amount of weight possible to do that . . . I can’t accept myself if I’m over 200 pounds, because it’s too much work on my heart.  It causes high blood pressure for me.  [And] it puts me at risk for diabetes, because I have diabetes in my family.”
