Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band was talking about his favorite Thanksgiving dishes, and admitted that he still loves him some green bean casserole.

 

He said, “I’m the only one that likes it, so I make an entire green bean casserole dish and I’m the only one that eats it in my house.  But for some reason I still make the whole dish, just in case somebody changes their mind.”

 

He’s also conquered the dangers of deep-frying a turkey.  “I’ve got one of those oil-less turkey fryers and it’s the best.  I highly recommend it.  I’ve been doing it the last few years and it really takes a lot of the stress out of making a turkey.”
