It seemed kind of weird when Lam NeesonI became a bad-ass action hero in his mid-50s, after “Taken” came out. Yes, he’s AWESOME as a bad-ass action hero. But how many people start down that path at that age?
Anyway, he’s been milking it for the past decade, because people keep paying him to do it. But he just turned 65, and he knows it’s about time to call it quits.
He says, “They’re still throwing serious money at me to do that stuff. I’m like, ‘Guy’s I’m sixty-[effing]-five.’ Audiences are eventually going to go, ‘Come on.'”
But he still has a few of those movies in the pipeline, waiting to hit theaters, including “Hard Powder”, which is about a snowplow driver who goes after the drug dealer who killed his son.
