LeBron James Regrets Naming His Son LeBron Jr.

LEBRON JAMES is doing a talk show for HBO, where famous people hang out and talk in BARBERSHOPS.  It’s called The Shop . . . and LeBron himself will be on at least the first few episodes.

The first one will air Tuesday, August 28th, and it’ll feature Jon StewartSnoop DoggOdell Beckham Jr.Candace Parker, Saints running back Alvin Kamara, Warriors star Draymond Green, and a few of LeBron’s business partners.

And in a preview clip, LeBron says he regrets naming his oldest son after him.  Quote, “I still regret giving my 14-year-old my name because of [the pressure to live up to me in basketball].

“When I was younger, I didn’t have a dad.  So my whole thing was, whenever I have a kid, not only is he going to be a junior, but I’m going to do EVERYTHING that THIS man didn’t do.”  (Here’s video.)

Of course, LeBron Jr. is playing basketball, and he looks like a stud-in-the-making.  He’s played with SHAQ’s son Shareef, who gave him a shout out on Instagram.

Quote, “Bronny . . . one kid I can relate to a lot . . . we both kind of have it the same way, being the son of an NBA legend isn’t easy, and to get all of this at a young age is a real challenge to adjust to.  Bronny has it a little bit worse than I do . . . but he can back his up at such a young age.”  Shareef is 18, four years older.
