Kris Kristofferson is the recipient of this year’s CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Unfortunately, he won’t be at next week’s show, but Dierks Bentley, Sheryl Crow, Chris Janson, and John Osborne will help honor him.
They’ll be performing his classic, “Me and Bobby McGee”. Previous recipients of the award include Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, and, obviously, Willie Nelson.
