Jon Pardi’s having a good year. He won New Male Vocalist at the ACMs, and he has three CMA nominations: He’s up for Best New Artist, and his song “Dirt On My Boots” is up for Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
But the highlight of Jon’s year was getting the chance to hang with people he’s been admiring for a very long time. He says, “Tim McGraw and I worked out together, which was fun. I got to have a beer with Alan Jackson.
“I [also] talked to George Strait a couple of times. Those are some of my heroes. I’ve gotten to do a lot of cool stuff with people I’ve been listening to since I was a kid, which is definitely a cool feeling.”
