Drew Carey’s Ex-Fiancée Was Murdered, so This Week’s “Price Is Right” Tapings Are Canceled

“Price Is Right” tapings have been canceled this week, after Drew Carey’s ex-fiancée was apparently murdered over the weekend.

Her name was Amie Harwick, and she was a pretty well-known therapist in Hollywood.  She was found unresponsive on the ground beneath a third-story balcony of her Hollywood Hills home on Saturday.  She died at the hospital.

There were signs of forced entry and a struggle inside the home, and an ex-boyfriend Amie had been seeing more recently by the name of Gareth Pursehouse is currently being held on $2 million bail.

Drew and Amie went public with their relationship in June of 2017.  They split in November of 2018.  Drew issued a statement yesterday saying, “Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime.  She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief.”
