Arnold Schwarzenegger Tricked Sylvester Stallone into Doing “Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot”

If you’re looking for blemishes on Sylvester Stallone’s resume, it’s hard to find one darker or more embarrassing than the 1992 “comedy” “Stop!  Or My Mom Will Shoot”.

Well, even though they’re friends now, Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger were heated rivals back then, and Arnold says he TRICKED Stallone into doing that movie.

Arnold got the script first, and he could see how bad it was.  So he leaked to the press that he had “tremendous interest” in it, but that he wanted a ton of money.

Stallone saw that as an opportunity to “steal” the movie from him by agreeing to do it for less.  And he DID.  Arnold says, “A week later, I heard about it, ‘Sly is signing now to do this movie.’  And I said, ‘Yes!'”

Arnold admits they competed about EVERYTHING back in the day, like who had the biggest arms, the least body fat, the most kills, and of course, the biggest weapons.  “Do you remember the Rambo knife became so big it was like a sword?  No one has a knife like that!  But Stallone had one built, so I had to come in with a bigger one. This is how it went.  And it didn’t stop!  It was unbelievable.”
